2018 Mazda CX-5 spy photos


The 2018 Mazda CX-5, caught testing in Southern California, will be redesigned but largely retain the proportions of the current crossover.

Mazda is targeting more premium buyers, so the CX-5 will become sleeker and more refined in keeping with the design of the latest CX-9.

Expect Mazda to also add more safety and convenience equipment to higher-trim models, with revised electronics and wider availability of driver assistance systems on all models. Interior space may increase slightly to keep up with rivals such as the Honda CR-V.
